My Christmas tree and Junkin Finds Friday

This is what I look at in the morning with my coffee. I do make a pretty tree, it's seems to be the same every year. And I like that.

I am trying to wrap with this red paper, it's reversible to a tan color I like. See the old Anthro wrapping things they give you?  I have not seen this years, I hope they did something. I think I will go there today. I'm sure they have put more on sale. They are good about that.

My garland is vintage, I bought that a few years ago in the thrift store in the original box. I will take a picture and show you next week. It's very soft and wispy, I have to be very careful with it. I keep piecing it back together.

I don't have anywhere to hang the stockings! I'm looking for some hooks I like and when I find them I will show you. Sometimes it takes me a while to find what I like and that's OK.  It's the thrill of the hunt for me.

A few of my favorite ornaments.  I always buy these when I find them.

My Mom painted these pretty roses, she loved china painting. I have a lot of her things she painted. She has been gone for 16 years now and I still think she is here.  I do miss her.

OK, what I found in Ovieda.
I love vintage horse pictures, they will be going out to Montana in my horse room.  Since I'm only there a few weeks a year it's taking a long time to decorate. This room still has a blow up bed in it. We leave one week from today and I'm so excited. I will take pictures for you.

I like this vintage deer, it's missing it's antlers but I still like him. That is an older Brighton purse that I will save for the summer. I like the way the leather is worn. I also like bamboo frames. It was just a dollar.

I don't usually like gold but these bells said something to me. I will add to the gold for next year.

These are prints but I think they almost look like paint by number.

We had old bells on a leather strap when we were little. My Mom would go outside our window and ring them on Christmas Eve after we went to bed. It scared me so much. I really thought he was there. I wish I still had those bells. So when I found these I had to buy them.

My favorite book! I already have this but when you can get it for a dollar I thought I could give it to someone as a gift someday.
I'm linking this with Linda's Junkin Finds Friday. Thank you Linda! I enjoy this so much. Go check her out.

The "finds" look even better now seeing them on your blog. That was such a fun and relaxing day. I look forward to going back after your return from Montana and seeing what they have for the New Year there! I love your tree! I'm thinking I need to have a garland or something to soften up the look of my tree (which has not been under kitten attack - yet BTW). See you soon friend. Ann
