The old shop! annnndddd the.....

The old shop.

The new shop!
This is not your grandmother antique shop.
I love it!
We are adding good junk to the outside.

It matches the sign. People had trouble seeing the building.  By the time you see the sign you are past the building and it's a one way road.  People have already said they could see the building!  It works!
We sold a lot this week and when I was there this afternoon we sold a large piece of furniture!

Our open house is December 2nd so the whole shop is getting ready for Christmas.

I made this stocking.

This booth belongs to a new friend I see at the Thrift Store.

This is a new booth. I don't like to say names without permission. So anyway, it turns out she was my daughters teacher. She also is a photographer.

Hope you all enjoy your weekend!

Hugs to you!

Thrifty Thursday at Bloggeritaville!

My stash for today!
The table was $2.92! I will be shabby chicing that up.
That's a clotch in the culander.
I'm making little loafs for Christmas gifts with the pan.
The bucket was$1.91!
An old rusty culander.
A couple of vintage purses.

This cute Santa, he's not old but looks it.
I have to do a little fixen up on him.
I'm linking up with Thrifty Thursday at Bloggeritaville!
Thanks Leigh, this is fun. I'm glad to have someone to show my stuff. Nobody cares here at home.  But that doesn't stop me!
Enjoy your thrifting!

Can I show you what I have been making?

I buy old trays-silver or tin or anything that strikes my fancy(shabby).

And I collect all different kinds of candle holders-silver, milk glass, Christmas or anything that strikes my fancy(shabby).

I glue them together and make cake plates or just shabby pedestals.

It's funny how I buy something that doesn't go with anything.

And then something just jumps out at me.
This is a Christmas candle holder.

I think this is my favorite right now.
An old card players tray.

This green shabby candle holder just went with it so well.

I like this one a lot also.

They will be going in my booth when I have room.  We are filled to the brim and still have a lot of Christmas to add.
Hope you are enjoying your Sunday!
I love blog land!

Getting in the Christmas spirit at Chic and Shabby!

We are just starting to add a little Christmas to our booth. We like to do a little at a time to have some change going on.
Well it happen, we went to Sanford with our buddies, The Boston Lady and CG to do some junking and looking.  So here are Kathy and I standing side by side admiring this booth and she goes "this is mine".  She makes the most beautiful cupcake and cake plates. I thought she meant just like hers. NO IT'S MINE!  Same bow tied on and  triple the price!  The whole booth was filled with our stuff!  All triple the price.  We took it as a compliment. There is room for all of us.  I don't like the bad feelings I get from some vender's.  Competition is good.  We are learning the ropes here and having fun.
Doing some estate sale shopping this weekend.
Hope you all enjoy yours!
Thanks for listening.
I'm also hooking this us with Linda at A La Carte's  Junkin Finds Friday.
I found the cute vintage Christmas card holder this week.
So hope on over to Linda's and see lots more!
