VCM!-Vintage Christmas Monday #2

OK, here we go. Joan at Anything Goes Here- up with great idea! I just love it.
First, I made this wreath out of small Christmas toys and old ornaments.

This one is on the front door.

I think this guy is from Germany. I think they are so cute. I have three of them and I put them on a wreath. This one is inside my front door this year.

Not a very good picture. I'm sorry!

Some how these things got out of order. I try to do other things when they are downloading and forget what I have done.

I didn't mean to do this one twice and I don't know how to take one picture off.
You know I just might have to post twice today! I hope that's ok.
Happy VCM to ya!

Wishing you a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

This is what I'm thankful for.
I'm thankful for my health.
I'm thankful for my family.
I'm thankful for my friends.
I'm thankful for blogging.
But this guy is who I'm very thankful for.
He can be a tough cookie.
Alot of people don't get him.
He's not very affectionate.
He doesn't have alot of patients.
But I tell you he loves us.
And he is just so darn cute.

That's him in the back.

Just coming thru the finish line. Not this guy 23 he's in the back 58.

He got 10th out of 25.
These guys and girls are 16yrs old thru 70yrs old.
Yes there are girls and women out there. Some are in there 40's.
It's a 2 hour ride about 11mile laps in the woods. They go around 3-4 time depending how fast they are. It's pretty grulling. Yes, they get hurt. EMT's are on call.

I do hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Blogging Buddie

Do you have a blogging Buddie?
This is mine. She is new to our house and just so sweet. Her name is Lola.
She chases the cursor. Sometimes it's hard to read.
I still count my comments. Do you?
I still get excited checking to see if I have any comments and am a little sad when there is none.
But look how many I got on my last post!
I love it.
Thanks to all who commented.
You made my day.

An Awesome Giveaway!

Check this blog out!

I'm a bad bad blogger!

And we had a new baby!

This is new baby Kyle Logan! What a
sweetie! I'm the great Auntie Sue. I like the great part.
This is what we have been doing
the past couple weeks and why I have not
been blogging.
We have been painting(not me)the house
and had the painting nightmare. I only had
a day and half to pick out the paint color and then
the paint people gave us the wrong paint. Not finished
yet, still doing trim. I wanted to give you an idea what
it looks like. I like it. I still might change the color of
the door. That will be another post.
Have a great weekend!

Thrifty Finds!

I just love Two's Company. This is for the beach house I don't have. $2.92

That's Nigella Bites in the basket. If I wait long enough I will get books I want that I don't want to pay the book store price-$3.93. The Basket wire desk basket is from Goodwill-$3.99.

This is a basket full of ocean things. That's a fan sponge sitting on a natural sponge. Two old floats. Can you see the sea horse's? They are skeleton's. $2.92 for the whole basket.

I put this on twice by accident and I don't know how to take it off-sorry.
Happy Tuesday to you.

These are for you Kristin!

I thought these were so beautiful. I don't usually buy flowers but I couldn't resist these.
I had to have a good reason to buy them-so, I thought of my sweet niece Kristin. She made my new header for me. Thank you so much! You couldn't have done better for me. Love it. And you too.
And she gave me my first and probably my only blog award. I'm so excited. The thing of it is-she has to tell me how to link. Anyway she is Write it Down over on the side bar of my blog. She is so talented and the best Mom. She has the cutest boys and I'm very proud of her. Take a look.
I hope you all have a great weekend. We are finally having beautiful fall weather here in Central Florida.

This is Binky. When my 17 yr old was 6 she wanted a white kitty for her birthday. So off I go to the humane society. I started looking around and saw this little black kitty that was so calm and sweet. I was just going to hold him while I looked for the white kitty. No white kitties at all, so this guy came home with me. He has been the best until now. He is not well, it's just about time, he will let me know when he is ready. He has to be outside all the time now. He has taken up the bad habit of pooping on the bed if we let him in. It's awful! I had to throw away a down comforter last night. But we still love him. He just has to stay out. So it won't be long now, he is still eating and drinking, he is skin and bone. When I pick him up he purrrrs. He will let me know when it's time.

Happy November!

It's time to put that Halloween stuff away and focus on Thanksgiving! I don't have a lot for Thanksgiving, I put the jack-o-lanterns away and leave out the fall things. It's the easy way.
And then you know what comes next!
Have a great week!
