Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!
I got this box at a garage sale this past weekend.

.
I like my tree this year.
Very simple, just the vintage ornaments.

My neighbor came by today and gave me these pine cones dipped in wax, they smell amazing!
I might try this.
Merry Christmas, I hope you are enjoying the season.

Look what came in the mail for me!

Remember this giveaway?
Tracie from Fishtail Cottage had all those fabulous giveaways.
Remember I won one?!!
It's on my side board if you have forgotten.
I won this amazingly beautiful French vintage ornament from Tracie at My Petite Maison.
She so generously offered this beautiful gift.
Just the word French and vintage make my heart go faster....
Tracie also has an etsy shop to visit...go see!
Tracie at Fishtail Cottage has an etsy shop too!...go see!!
It arrived all safe and sound wrapped so pretty with a cute sticker of Tracie's sweet baby Zeke.
I have a golden too, so I know how amazing they are as pets.
(sorry about the toes)

Along with a very nice note and something extra for me!
Organic French golden peach tea...
How sweet was that.
I wasn't surprised though because Tracie seems to be that kind of lady.
Thank you soooo much Tracie.

And now look at my beautiful FRENCH,did I say French?!!, vintage ornament...

I love it!
I have the most perfect rusty little hook for it.

Here is a close up(see me?) of this beautiful mercury glass heart FRENCH VINTAGE ornament.
Isn't it stunning?!!!

Here is where I have it for now, but I'm sure it will be moving around a lot until I find the perfect spot.

This sweet thing will not be put away after Christmas.  I want to see it all the time.
Happy Sunday to all my blogging friends and I hope you are taking the time to enjoy this season.  And don't forget the reason for the season!!
XOXO

A little Christmas at home....and Stella

Stella came to stay at our house while we all go to Montana for Christmas.  My good friend Margie stays here with all the pets, Bailey, Jack, Lola and Stella!!
It makes our trip so much better because I don't have to worry about them and they don't have to be boarded.

Her Mommy is my oldest girl that lives in Jacksonville Florida.  I drove to Jacksonville to pick Stella up so I got to spend the night with my sweet girl.
Amanda is leaving tomorrow for Montana for 3 whole weeks!!
We leave next Saturday.
The whole family will there along with my Katie's boyfriend Charlie.
Charlie is great, he does the polar plunge with my husband on New Years Day.
It's crazy

OK, a little bit of Christmas.
I found these at the Thrift Store this week!!
They still had the $39.00 price tag on them from Potterybarn!!
I paid $1.91 for the small one and $2.93 for the big one!
I was smiling when I walked out the door that day..

And now a few of my vintage ornaments.

I love this lamp, my husband doesn't get it at all.
Do you?

The shade I got at Farm Chic's this past June.  It had quite the journey getting to Florida.
My good friend drives her RV to Montana for the summer, so she brought it back for me in September with a stop in South Dakota for her son's wedding, who didn't get it either.

I have had this lamp for a while, I found it at the Thrift also.
$6.96!

This perfect lantern I bought at Art Angels where my booth Chic and Shabby is.
I added the jar and candle that fits perfect.

Perfect rust!!

I didn't have to do much to this bench from the Thrift Store.
$4.94!!
Bailey is trying so hard to be friends with Stella, she has never been around dogs so Bailey will have to be extra gentle.

She is a sweet girl, but misses her Momma!

Lola is actually trying to be nice but Stella is so scared it might take a while before they become friends.

A little bit of Chic

Welcome to my best friend and partner's beautiful home.
This is the Chic part of our Chic and Shabby.

Kathy has the touch, the eye.

She knows how to not do too much, layer just enough.  The candle sticks are from Bloomingdale's but she picked them up at the thrift for $1.91 each!  I'll show you later what I got yesterday...

Sometimes Kathy gets a little bit Shabby and that's OK because I love it!

You really can't see how stunning this case is.  It's filled with beautiful glass and china cake plates.

I love this vignette Kathy put together.
See the Pottery barn star on the left?  She got hers at the thrift a while ago for $1.91 and found 2 yesterday at the thrift still in the box with the $38.00 price tag on them!  I will show you mine tomorrow.

Sweet vignette with family photos.

Isn't this just gorgous?!!

I love the glass blocks.

Her tree is perfect!  I need to get some wrapping done too.
I will show you more later.  For some reason blogger will not let me load a bunch of pictures.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all my blogger friends!!
xoxo
