I'm really into knitting now

I have a thing for knitted blankets at the thrift store.


I have a hard time walking by them without taking them home.


Someone has spent alot of time making these. I just don't understand why they are put in the thrift store or Goodwill.


So I take them home with me.




I also pick up already started knitting projects.


My mother in law showed me how to knit with this one that was already started. I don't know how to start or finish.

I love these earthy, nubby colors.

The Sun is UP!

I just noticed the sun was up and the coffee timer went off! You know what that means? I have been blogging for 2 hours and am no where near finished reading all my blogs I follow and adding new ones like this. What a beautiful, loving story.
I must stop now, my house is a mess and I'm going to a beautiful wedding shower at 11am.
Tomorrow my hubby is racing his dirt bike in a Hare Scramble. And that means rising at 4am and driving to some cow field in Florida. Maybe some pictures of both. I sure wish I was a photographer.

Horses!

This is Major.
This is my youngest. I terrified her of horses when we tried to go on a trail ride and I freaked out. I'm so sorry for that.

This is my friend from high school, we graduated in 1971! That's quite a while ago. We didn't talk for 30 yrs, she lived in Alaska and I lived in Orlando. Then she moved back to Orlando just about 1 mile from me and we both have homes in Montana about 30 miles from each other! So we have hooked up again as friends. We both go out to Montana for the summer and we our kids are about the same age.


This is my middle girl.
As you can see I think I scared her of horses. I'm terrified of horses.

This is my oldest. She wasn't there when I terrified the other 2.

I just discovered this beautiful blog. So I added it to my long list of blogs.
It's crazy how long my blog list is. I have to get up at this awful hour(4:04am) in the moring to look at and read all my blogs.

I think, well maybe I should cancel a few but I have trouble doing that because I love you all.

I just love these open shelves and the subway tile. This girl has a little bit of english in her post. But I think I will go and ask her to add a translator.


Today we will continue to fix the wall in the dinning room from the leak in the pipe. It started out just pulling the panaling down, fix the leak and putting the panaling back up. Well guess what! The bottom of the panal is rotten. My husband wanted to cut it off and put a larger trim there. Not the rest of the room. Just there. He said-would that look bad? He hates doing house related things. So you know he won't do anything fun that I want to do to the house. He will only fix things because it's too expensive to hire someone. But that sometimes leads into hiring someone-haha.
Anyway, it's Super Bowl Day! I'm really not a football fan, I don't even know who's playing. Oh wait, I thinks it's New Orleans. I will root for them. They desearve it. We do go to a party every year. It started out we all stayed for the whole game. Each year we all leave earlier. We do the betting thing. That's fun.

Home away from home

I'm in Orlando now and I miss this. I'm not sure about living there, I don't like being cold. It makes my hair go flat and dries my skin. But I do like the smoke coming out of the chimney and the warm feeling inside.
He loves it. He also doesn't want to be on my blog. So please don't tell him, he never reads it.

I'm putting bird seed out.

This is the back yard and my beautiful shed our friend Tony build for me. He is also the one that gutted the house and redid it. The people walked away from it and left food in the refrigerator, clothes, shoes all over the place. The electric was extension cords all over the house and pack rats lived there. It was empty for about 1 year. I did not go in the house untill Tony started cleaning it up.

My youngest took these pictures and wanted me to do a post about them.

That made me happy.

Off the subject. This is Bailey. He is the best. Yes, he's on the sofa but it is slip covered.

And this is his best friend Lola B. She has been with him since she was 5weeks old. She loves him so much.

And this is me. Self portrait in the mirror. Woops no eye make up. I wonder what some of my bloggers look like. I know alot of you are soooo young and that's what I like about blogging. Age doesn't matter when you have things in common. I get so much inspiration from so many of you and I want to just say thanks for being there to talk to about everyday life.
