Fluffing at Art Angels

We needed to fluff our booth.

We needed to add a little Valentines day.

The holidays really kept us busy and I was gone for 2 weeks so we didn't get to do much in the booth.

And to be honest a few new vendors have moved in and I feel a little bit jealous.
Some new amazing things are arriving everyday.

Today I'm showing you our booth, I will show you more later.

Because I think there is room for all of us.  I'm glad for these new vendors to come in and sell, of course I'm a little happier when we sell but I think that's just a normal feeling.
I'm happy for them.

It does make me get out there and find some more good stuff.
Not that I don't like the thrill of the hunt...
I love it!

Whoops, I need to hide that cord.

We are happy with how it turned out, still have some more things to add.

I need to get painting again, I haven't painted since before Christmas.

OK, there you go.  Our little booth.
And we are also starting to get ready for Fancy Flea, more on that later.
Hope you are enjoying your week.

My pictures won't cooperate today so I'm just going with it.
Where have I been that I have not met this lady?

I have both of the new Folk magazines and thought I read everything, but now I must go back and read them again.
Her name is Deb Kennedy, I have seen her work all over blog land but just didn't realize she had a blog.
Look at these beautiful, amazing packages she has done..I CAN DO THIS!!!
INSPIRATION!!
Well I'm hook and will be back..
Plus her writing is so encouraging in life.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!  It's cold here in Orlando today, but don't worry it will go away tomorrow!!

Lamp or candle holder? BOTH!

I stopped at this little Thrift store in my neighborhood yesterday.  I don't usually do very well there but sometimes I do, like yesterday!!
Found these two lamps.

This one is missing the socket.  First thing I thought about is a candle of course.

This one works.  So, do I have one with candle and one that works and break up the pare?
Or, do I HAVE the other one fixed and keep them together forever...
but then the sockets won't match.
Knowing me I will break them up...
What do you think???
Happy Thursday bloggers!!!

Thrift'n on Thursday

Linking up with Joy, she has a great post today.  Something I think we all think about..
Go visit and don't forget to visit the others who have linked up!
It's fun!!

A little bit of Glacier National Park..

Can you see me?

After all the kids left we took a drive to Glacier National Forest.. It's about 30 miles from our home and not a bad drive.

The road is only open so far but it's worth it.  You can ski or snow shoe the Going to the Sun road if you dare.

It just amazes me to see these mountains.

Have you met my friend Anita of Vintiquities in Somers Montana?

Vintiquities in Somers Montana is one of my favorite shops I always visit when I'm in Montana.

She's open Thursday through Monday 10am to 5pm.

Her shop is beautiful, so much to see when you walk in the door.

Here she is.  My friend Anita!  Just a very nice lady.

She makes these beautiful angels.

Primitives..

Look at these beautiful book trees she makes, the one on the right is mine!!

I would love to buy this vintage hand made cabinet.

Your eyes just wonder around seeing so much good stuff.

So if you driving through Northwest Montana on highway 93 you will see Anita's shop at the north end of Flathead Lake in Somers.  It's a beautiful drive and an amazing view, worth the drive.
See you at The Farm Chick Show Anita!!
Oh ya, she's on FB and she has a blog.....

I'm home and I'm mad at Montana......

This is the beautiful town of Whitefish Montana the morning we arrived off the train Christmas day...
This is the most snow we had the whole time we were there!
Two weeks NO SNOW!

I put the lights on my picnic table in hopes to have lots of snow and have the beautiful glow.
Never happened....
We did have fun with friends.

Charades...

More charades...

More friends.... the first night we arrived, Christmas day.
This year we didn't go out and cut down a tree in the yard.  I don't know why.  So I put this little tree in the kitchen and decorated it with these cute little stars I brought from Orlando.
I missed my blog and you!!
I'll show you more this week...
We had birthdays, Happy New Year, Polar Plunge, skiing and lots of friends but NO SNOW!!!
Plus I missed so much in blog land because I have no Internet in Montana!!
Can you believe that?!

We are leaving tomorrow for Montana.
Here is our little home in Lakeside Montana last year at Christmas.
I'm hoping for lots of snow because this Florida girl loves it!

Wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
And just in case you didn't know it, I love and appreciate all my friends in blog land!!
