WOW! What a storm!!!!

This is the third time trying to post this.  We just had an unbelievable storm.  No power for a couple hours. All is well now.  I just hope there was not much damage.
Anyhooo...Look at this little baby I found at the Thrift Store!  She is child's size and again just like the bed the perfect color and just right.

I love the butterfly or dragonfly, whatever it is.

Do you see the price? $2.92!

It's solid.  I can't tell if it's made to look worn or if it's truly worn.

Love it!

I also found this cool urn thing.

At first I thought it was metal.  But I'm not sure what it's made of

The white chalky stuff comes off real easy.

I think it will look great with a candle glowing from it.

It reminds me of something Pottery Barn would have.
Well, I'm off to Montana tomorrow for 4 days.  Just me and the hubby.  We fly standby so this could be an adventure.  Wish us luck!
It's hard for me to believe it's snowing in Lakeside...I'm already in shorts mood.
I'm linking with Thrifty Thursday at Bloggeritaville...go see.

Love the little chair...looks like it was out in the weather for a great chippy patina! Enjoy your getaway!

Enjoy your couples getaway! I hope it is a wonderful adventure.
When you are not burning a candle in your lant-urn (lantern + urn) you can dress it up with some greenery. Or greenery plus an electric flame.

I also think the chair is too good to be true. It was probably distressed but looks like it has also sat in weather quite a while.

First of all you are a lucky girl you got to the thrift before me LOL I think getting off the plane was a good idea, you would have gone thru some terrible weather! I am right down town and we have trees down all over. There was one 4 doors down laying on a power line smoking and sparking until midnight last night when OUC showed up, we finally got power on. Hope your trip goes well tomorrow.

I love that chair. My father made one for each one of us girls when we were little. And they were graduated in size and different colors. This brings back memories!
Also very jealous that you are going to Montana. I love it out there!~Ames

Nice finds! The chair looks like it's truly worn or at least weathered to me.
