An award for me?!

I'm hanging my head in shame because I have taken so long to acknowledge this award.

I'm not sure why. I'm so honored that anyone would give me an award.

I'm a little nervous but I'm doing it.

I feel I find some good stuff and would like to sell it.

By keeping up with some of your blogs I think a lot of us have the same taste.

I'm not sure what happens when I sell something. I'm still trying to figure that out. So please be patient with me. I'm learning the hard way here. I have alot of things to put on there I just don't want to overwelm myself, so I'm taking it slow at first.

We can't find her!

She hasn't come home since Monday morning. Miley is always here for breakfast. All 4 kitties know it's wet stinky food for breakfast. I didn't think a whole lot about it when she wasn't at the door. I called her all day and the next and the next.

Today I went to Animal Control to see if they picked her up, which I didn't think so because she doesn't like to be picked up. Nothing and boy was that hard. They make you walk past the dogs to get to the cats. So many kitties, I don't know if I could do that job.

I think some dogs in our neighborhood might have gotten her. We haven't asked yet. I just keep looking out the door hoping she will be there.

I will keep you posted.

I'm try to open an Etsy Shop.

These are a few things I will be putting in the shop.

This is a bud vase.

Silver plate ice tea spoons


The cutes hand painted little pitcher

I'm not sure what this is. It's silver plated with initials engraved in the handle.

I think it's for making drinks, shots.

The handle is to short for a candle snuffer.

This is a large milk glass vase. I have 2 of these so I will be keeping one for myself.

This is a coaster. I just love this kind of metal stuff.

So why am I afraid of opening this shop. I have so many questions about getting started. I know that when I'm finally open it will all fall into place. Now that I'm telling the world maybe I will get this done.

I'm really into knitting now

I have a thing for knitted blankets at the thrift store.


I have a hard time walking by them without taking them home.


Someone has spent alot of time making these. I just don't understand why they are put in the thrift store or Goodwill.


So I take them home with me.




I also pick up already started knitting projects.


My mother in law showed me how to knit with this one that was already started. I don't know how to start or finish.

I love these earthy, nubby colors.

The Sun is UP!

I just noticed the sun was up and the coffee timer went off! You know what that means? I have been blogging for 2 hours and am no where near finished reading all my blogs I follow and adding new ones like this. What a beautiful, loving story.
I must stop now, my house is a mess and I'm going to a beautiful wedding shower at 11am.
Tomorrow my hubby is racing his dirt bike in a Hare Scramble. And that means rising at 4am and driving to some cow field in Florida. Maybe some pictures of both. I sure wish I was a photographer.
