Life after you close your booth....

I remember being scared opening our booth and then I was scared closing the booth.
It's funny how Kathy and I seem to be on the same page during this adventure.
This is our last week at Art Angels.  It has been a great 2 years and I can't believe it's been 2 years!
But it's time.

Speaking of time...haha
I really didn't plan that.
I found this vintage wall clock at an estate sale this weekend.
I love it!  I had to bend the hands a little to get it working, since then it's kept time all weekend.
It takes a C battery, which I thought was different.

So, do you stop thrifting after you close your booth?
NO..
It's in my blood, but I am being more selective.

Jack, watching out for his Mama to come home.

Anyway, I bought 2 lambs wool pillow covers at the thrift the other day. I stalked them until they went on sale.  And if you go to thrift stores you know that can take a few weeks, it's very chancy..
My thrift uses the color code system.

I also picked up this old store storage/display rack at a garage sale.
I almost walked away because they wanted 25 dollars and wouldn't come down( I don't blame them).
I needed more storage to keep and show all the inventory for our wedding rental business.
This is perfect and it looks good!!

It's perfect for storing the taller ball jars.

I picked up this barrel a few weeks ago at the thrift for $1.91(I might have already shown you).

I love the old wall paper on it.

It's in perfect shabby/chippy shape!!

I use it to store clothes I don't want anymore to go to goodwill.
Look at this cute set!!

I think it looks so Jeanne d' Arc!!

I love it, I'm still moving it around, finding the perfect place.
Sometimes it takes a while but if you love it....it will work.

Yep, from my thrift store.  Just $25.00, I think that's a steal.  There was a time I would have walked away for that price.
Went to the booth yesterday.  It's almost empty!!  All the furniture has sold!!  Just what we wanted, we didn't want to bring anything home.
Orlando is having a beautiful week.
Hope you are!!
Thank you for visiting me today.
xoxo

Oh this makes me a bit sad because I remember very clearly when your booth opened. I was so proud of you girls! Glad all the furniture sold and AA is really going to miss you two. However, I know your wedding business is going to be a huge success. Ann

Hi Sue, thank you so much for visiting and leaving your nice comment. I have just closed my booth too after 6 months of agonizing over it. I cried about it and miss it but am enjoying the freedom of not worrying with it anymore. And there's always the future to do it again. That table set is fabulous! What a score! Love the fleur de lis on it.

Hey Gal! I am powering back on vintage items in my shop, and creating more things with vintage baubles, etc...but I still thrift, and like you I am more selective! You found some great stuff! Love that bistro like set, and the clock!

Thanks so much for joining in Blissful Whites Wednesday!
Have a lovely Friday and weekend!
Hugs,
Becky

I know Art Angels will miss you! But exciting things await you. Love the table and chairs so perfect for that Florida outdoors. It is starting to get cold here in the Carolina's stay safe from that last hurricaine. Di
