A little bit of Chic

Welcome to my best friend and partner's beautiful home.
This is the Chic part of our Chic and Shabby.

Kathy has the touch, the eye.

She knows how to not do too much, layer just enough.  The candle sticks are from Bloomingdale's but she picked them up at the thrift for $1.91 each!  I'll show you later what I got yesterday...

Sometimes Kathy gets a little bit Shabby and that's OK because I love it!

You really can't see how stunning this case is.  It's filled with beautiful glass and china cake plates.

I love this vignette Kathy put together.
See the Pottery barn star on the left?  She got hers at the thrift a while ago for $1.91 and found 2 yesterday at the thrift still in the box with the $38.00 price tag on them!  I will show you mine tomorrow.

Sweet vignette with family photos.

Isn't this just gorgous?!!

I love the glass blocks.

Her tree is perfect!  I need to get some wrapping done too.
I will show you more later.  For some reason blogger will not let me load a bunch of pictures.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all my blogger friends!!
xoxo

There's those thrift store finds again. Everything is so homey. Wish I could see that cabinet with all of the cake plates in person. I think I would say it has the WOW factor. Thanks for sharing her home with us.
