Front Porch and a junkin weekend....

Good morning bloggers!
Hope your weekend went well.

We have had 100% rain for 2 days.  The only other time I have seen this here is during a hurricane.
No lighting just constant rain.
I actually liked it.

Anyway, Joy of Savvycityfarmer wanted to see our porches.
See the Duncan & Sue's Place?
I had this made in North Carolina years ago.

My favorite boots covered in outside mold.
Perfect!

Old work boots made into a planter.

Where I like to sit and read my magazines or talk on the phone.

I like this old thermometer.
It works too!

OK, Friday's loot with Kathy(Chic).
We hit some thrifts, Goodwill, House of Hope and just plain junk shops.

We left at 9am and got home about 530pm.
Had a blast.

The car was full.
More stuff for the shop and Fancy Flea!

This guy lives in Sanford in an outside cafe'.
I forgot his name.
Lunch with blogger friends last week.
It's so fun to visit with these ladies.  This is what I love about blogging, you hook up with people you would have never met.  Denise(The Rusty Gate) lives in Clermont and has shown us some great places to shop.  She has a whole lot of knowledge about the junk world in this area.  Carol(The Polka Dot Closet) lives just around the corner from us!  She is just so creative and  not afraid to tell us her secrets.  I love that! And of course my best buddy and partner in crime(junk), Kathy, the chic of the Chic and Shabby.  She's chic and I'm not! She has no blog yet, I'm working on that.  There's room for all us.
Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!!

That silver cooler in the back of your car looks alot like the one we had when I was little! It brings back great memories of lots of camping trips we took. Looks like you had a great junkin' day!

Fun stuff you got there. My friend in Vero said they got 11 inches of rain. We had high winds, sideways rain and lightning over here on the east coast for two days. Flooding too. I guess it was too much too fast for the sewers and drains to keep up with. But boy does my yard look green!~Ames

Oooooooo. I was looking forward to your "wild" weekend. Looks like it started early and that you and Chic had lots of luck! Your front porch is always a welcome sight and let's start putting the pressure on Kathy to start a blog! I can already picture it.... "Southern Charmer". Ann

4:30 am....Are you kidding me! I get up at the crack of 10am. Looks like some great finds! Thanks for the shout out! I just found out my son is going to be here from DC that weekend of the Shabby Flea Bummer! He and girlfriend are in town for a wedding, so if he is gone most of the day, I hope I can still sneak down!
