Blissful Whites Wednesday

I love these old chickens and roosters, only have a few. In the past few years I have slowed down on my collections, becoming very selective.

Here is my newest one.  I think they are from the 50's and 60's.
Some have holes on them but I don't know what they are for.

OK, the place mats are from the thrift store, bought at different times.  None over $2.00.
I LOVE old cloth napkins,  I guess this is where I have NOT slowed down, I'm not telling you how many I have.  Let's just say if ALL of you came for dinner everyone would have a pretty cloth napkin, no dinner plate but definitely a napkin.

I paid less then $5.00 for 8 dinner plates and 9 cups and saucer's.

I went to Saluda North Carolina last weekend with my daughter and her roommate.  They wanted to check out the area to decide if they want to move to there.  My Dad lives there, I took them so I could spend time with him.  More on that later.

Daddy has gotten rid of all the farm animals except this little pony.  I asked him what his name was....he said, I don't know?!!  What!!!  He's had him for 10years!!  My step mother has alzheimers so she can't tell us, so sad.  She took care of him for 45 years now he's taking care of her and doing a wonderful job.

This is Shambo, I call him Shampoo because he needs a bath real bad!!

He smiles at you!!!
I had so much fun getting his picture..

Look at those dreads,  can you see them?

This is Bailey, what a sweetheart.  Made me sad because it reminded me of my sweet Bailey.
This Bailey has the same sweet personality as my boy.
I miss him so much.

Bailey enjoying the sunshine..

Even though he is not white I couldn't leave him out.
Another sweet boy,  I'm so sorry I forgot his name.

Sweet old farm dogs..
They all need baths but are very happy.
Well taken care of and loved.

So sorry about Bailey Sue--it must be very hard to lose a dog, something I've never experienced. I love cloth napkins but none of mine are old.

Love your table setting, gal! And those pruppies are precious, too! Is Shambo a bearded collie? He looks so much like our Cooper and he's a bearded!!

Thanks so much for joining in Blissful Whites Wednesday!
Have a lovely Friday! Hopefully, we'll have some sunshine tomorrow!!

I think your roosters are salt and pepper shakers, but you never know!

The smiling dog cracks me up! I have a granddog who smiles, too.

p.s. You are listed as a noreply blogger, so when you leave a comment at my blog and I comment back, it doesn't go to you. There are a few tutorials about how this happens when you switch to Google plus and how to change it. I think Suzanne at Meridian Road had a post about it. Just a heads up.

Hi Sue,

It sounds like you had a nice visit with family. I love the pictures of the horse and the farmdawgs. I wish you and your family a happy Thanksgiving.
