I found my camera!!! Fancy Flea.....

OK, here we go.
We had a wonderful time at Fancy Flea of Lakeland last Saturday but I don't think I have ever been so tired.
Here we are in front of our booth.
Chic and Shabby, she's chic and I'm not!
Me(Sue on the left) and Kathy.

Kathy surprised me with the banner.
I love how it turned out!

Here's our good friend, The Boston Lady, who came to our rescue and  ran the pay station.  Standing in the back with her hands in her pockets like she was bored.
What a big help she was, I can't imagine doing this without her.
I would recommend having a pay station.  It really left us open to mingle with people and keep redoing as thing sold.

My good friends Jennifer(My Daily Swoon) and Margie showed up, I worked with these ladies for 20 years at US Airways.
I have been retired for 6 years and we still remain close.
They saved us from starving to death, they went and bought us lunch!
Don't I look like I'm starving?!! haha

A few pictures of our booth.

This is Paris Rags.
I wish I had noticed the boob peeking out, I would have fixed that.

This is Kim of Paris Rags, she embellishes and makes her own beautiful tops, skirts, pants and other pretty creative things.

The next few pictures are of Art Angels booth.  Art Angels is where Kathy and I have a booth and sell all our treasures.  If you are in Orlando you need to stop by and visit us, I really think you would be surprised.
The beautiful linens are from Christies booth at Art Angels.

I want this dress form!

Kathy is so pretty!
And always busy fixing things to look pretty.
She's so good at it!

Here is our friend Debbie of Vintage Soul.  Her booth is always so beautiful!
She is one talented girl.
Her shop is in St Cloud Florida, if you are ever in the area do yourself a favor and stop by.

Amazing furniture all over the place!

See Emily in the mirror.  I sent her out to take all these pictures, she did a great job.

I didn't meet Robyn, I wish I gone in and said hello.  Her booth was packed!

We still need to get to her store in Tampa.

I just love Annie Sloan Chalk Paint!!

Again I should have stopped and said hello.....

More of Paris Rags..

This is my new friend Connie(Shabby for Sure), I just "met" her Friday when she left me a comment. And then she was right across the street from us!  It really is a small blog land!!

So many people!
I met 2 "super" bloggers, as my friend Shelley(SweetPeaHome) calls them, that I have followed for a long time.
Laura of 52 Flea was here for a family wedding and was able to come to the show.
I was so glad she stopped by our booth and said hello, you made my day Laura!!
And I also met Ruth of The Beautiful Life. What a beautiful lady!    Ruth lives in the area but we have never met, she has an on line shop that sells Jeanne d' Arc Living magazines(my guilty pleasure) and beautiful products.
When I started blogging over 2 years ago I had no idea where it would lead me.  I feel like I have found my world, I knew there were other's out there with the same passions.
And to meet these ladies is such a special thing for me!!
I call them famous bloggers because both of them have amazing blogs and have been published!
I can't even imagine that..
Both these ladies have amazing style!
I

Here is our friend Carol of The Polka Dot Closet.
We didn't think she was going to make it but she surprised us!

This lady is just so talented, you need to check out her blog and see what she do with just about anything.

This is our booth again.  Almost all of our furniture sold!

These are all hand made roses out of lace.
So pretty and creative!

Look at this canape!!!
This is Lisa's booth, her shop is House of Envy in St Cloud Florida.  Another place you really need to visit when you come to Orlando and you will because everybody come to Orlando!!!

Another quick shot of Debbie's booth.
Love that door!!!

I'm sorry I can't remember this girls name.
And I can't find the card she gave me.
When I do I will update!

I love this cabinet!

That's our friend Denise(The Rusty Gate)on the phone.  I can't believe I forgot to take pictures of her booth!
I'm sorry Denise!  I will do better in the spring, will you be there?
Check her out on facebook!!!
Another friend I didn't get pictures with is Shelley of Sweet Pea Home.
I didn't realize what it takes to have work a booth.
I thought I would have time to shop, mingle and take pictures.
NOT!!!!!

What a day!  We learned a lot, things we did right and things we will change.
We couldn't have done this without all the help we got from our girls, Rachel and Emily, thank you so much.  For doing this for us we will feed you and put a roof over your head for another year!!
And for our good friend Ann, I hope you know how much we appreciate you!  We owe you another wedding, we will even go to California!
And thanks to my hubbie who doesn't get it but came through for us at the very last minute and drove the truck and trailer all the way to Lakeland and "helped" unload.
I promise I will do better with the pictures.  I get a little crazy, overwelmed and don't think.
I'm sorry for not having all the names of the booths or blogs.
Please let me know who you are and I will make it right.
OK, I think I'm done.  Probably not, but that's ok.

What a day!!!

xoxo

It looks like you all had so much fun! I think I'm going to do it this spring. I'll be contacting you more about it to get your inside scoop about it all! And your booth looks soooo pretty!

I found you via The Polka Dot Closet, and I love your post, I almost feel as if I was there. (I live in Ohio, so I wish I was there!) I just started my 1st booth last week, but it's something I've always wanted to do. I was going to ask you whether it's hard to watch people look at your stuff? I would think there would be more of attachment to the items than there would be if you were selling new things? I'm rambling...congrats on doing so well, and I think you are very chic!
Take care,
Erin

Hi KarenSue,

Wow! Sooo many beautiful things! I go crazy over here.. ;) Did you have a good sell? Lucky you had the girls and friends to help you out.

I have only participated in one fair two years ago, with my mother, it was so exhausting but fun at the same time! I think I will go for it next year. Our booths will not look as stunning as yours though!!

Thanks for showing so many photos. Love it!

Have a great day,
Sanna

I think it took me three days to not feel tired after this fabulous day - so worth it! I'm glad you had all those pictures because I didn't take the time to stroll around and see the booths. Next time I will! So glad you let me tag along and join the fun! Ann

I think we were all a little overwhelmed. I will most likely do April but I will be more prepared and more organized. I love your pictures. Would you mind if I "borrowed" a few of them for my blog?
