Visiting a local blogging friend!!

Knock Knock
Who's there?

It's us, Kathy and Sue. (Chic and Shabby)  She's Chic and I'm not!
Kathy and I went to visit our friend Carol of The Polka Dot Closet!
You would not believe how close she lives to us.  When I started following her I thought she lived on the other side of town.  No! About 2 miles from us!!
She can make anything!
I'm not crafty at all, I admire anyone who is.
Carol made this beautiful vintage rinestone bridal bouquet.

Carol didn't know we were coming to the house, she thought we were meeting at the restaurant just around the corner.  Kathy and I decided to park at her house and walk.
I had never been to her house but I reconized it from her blog!!

Everthing was perfect!  Nothing out of place.  If you showed up at my house this would not be.  I guess that's one of the perks of living alone.  You can do whatever you want whenever you want!  And everthing is as YOU leave it.....
Someday!!

Here is your guest room if you decide to visit over night.  But I do have to warn you she says she cleans the closets at 3am!!!

Of course Carol made these beautiful linens.
Here is where all the amazing crafting happens!!

We have all seen her beautiful mannequin...

Look at this!
She needs to be in Where Women Create!

Carol's sweet little back yard.

I love this pretty outdoor table area.

Don't you love this?!
$10.00 at a garage sale!!
Big Score!!
Here is where Carol dreams up all her creative crafts.

I'm so sorry I forgot this kitties name.  He/She was not happy I was taking pictures of her/him trying to nap.

She/he thought...if I move maybe she will leave me alone..

I'm usually pretty good with kitties, they all like me but this one wasn't having it.

Here is kitty Billy, a girl named Billy!!  You know, instead of a boy named Sue....haha

Kathy was trying to look at this vintage wedding dress but Billy thought she was playing with her.

She thought she owned this dress.

Just taking a little rest.

A very sweet kitty!

Billy finally let us take a good picture of the dress..

The Polka Dot Closet

Here she is!  Miss Carol, the craftiest person I know!!
We went to lunch and talked about Fancy Flea.  This is Carol's first Fancy Flea and wanted to ask us a few questions.  Like we know anything.  Just do it!!!  It's so fun.  Live and learn...it is exhausing but worth it!
Have a great day.
xoxo

Carol's house is so pretty! I'd never be able to let people take pictures of my house without warning though :-)

How great is that! You live near each other! Her house is so pretty!
Very inspiring! I would definitely need at least a 48 hour warning of having company. 4 kids and crafting equals a mess on most days :)

What a great visit...thanks for showing us. Those fur babies are absolutely beautiful. $10 for that chandie is the score of the century!

So much prettiness in one home. And two cats to boot! She will do very well at FF, I believe. Thanks for sharing. Ann
