Peonies, my girls, Jack, gardenias

Aren't they amazing?!

I have never seen them in the grocery store in Florida.

They don't grow here and are very expensive at a florist.

Karla at Classy and Fabulous posted about them and she is in my area.

I had to wait a day before I could get to Whole Foods and was sure they would be gone.

I was so excited to find them.

My photo's are not very good like Karla's but I think you can still see the beauty in them.

And here are my girls. Amanda in the middle was home from Whitefish Montana where she moved to last summer. I'm so proud of her for making that move. This is the first time she came home.

Emily on the left is graduating for high school and Katies is a junior in college.

And this is the newest member of our family. The good thing is he is Katie's and she doesn't live here. I do baby sit sometimes.

This is Jack.

I picked these this morning.

They make the whole house smell so good.

I hope all you bloggers have a great day!

Hot and sunny here.

Summer has arrived, I'm going out to clean that awful pool.

Beautiful girls! Love the peonies so glad you were able to buy some! My gardenias haven't bloomed yet but when they do... :)

I loved seeing your grown up girls Sue! So crazy you'd post the peonies because while at Whole Foods on Saturday I saw them, deciding on the calla lilies instead. There were two ladies who were buying the peonies because it reminded them of home! I think you did a nice job with them. Love the blue Bell jar....

So glad you were able to get some! :) I was thinking about you last night and wondering. Too funny that 'Camera Crazy' mentioned buying them because the reminded them of home, that is why I bought them.

Mine have opened up almost fully and I've been snapping shots of them every day since they look so different each day, so fun. I have a setting on my camera that does close up shots, which is great specifically for flowers but I had to play around with it a bit.

I love gardenias too, they smell heavenly! Every time I'm on Park Ave they have some in that little rose garden/court.

Enjoy your new flowers!

Hi there! Oh your girls are beautiful! It makes me fast forward about 8 years....

well, makes me want to cry....I mean I am looking forward to them getting older but I just don't want them to grow up & or move out! Now, is that too much to ask??? ;)

I'll be calling you asking how to cope so keep a good journal for me ok?
