Close call for Binky!

This is Binky, he is 11 years old. This is a good picture of him. He has been sick for a while now. We spent $400.00 on him a couple months ago so they could tell us there is something wrong with his kidneys. I give him a pill everyday. He always is starving, I started feeding him wet food in hopes that it would put some weight on him, it hasn't. Well, this morning he didn't come running when I opened the can, he didn't even get up. I thought this isn't good. He would not even drink his half and half! I really thought this was it. He laid around all day all with his eyes half open. And then all of a sudden he got up wanted food and water and food again! He is back! I really thought this was it, if you could hold him and feel his bones you would think the same thing. If it had not been Sunday and the vet was closed I might have taken him in to be put down, it was that bad! He is one lucky kitty and I do love him. I will feed him all he wants until it's time. I won't let him suffer.
I sat with him all day long.

Binky ate a snake head yesterday. Maybe that made him sicker then he is.
It turned out to be a good day. Now I'm off to my nephew's family birthday party at the lake.
Hope you are having a good Sunday!
Thank you for listening.

Oh bless him! And, bless you for taking care of him. I hope it was just the snake's head bothering him, rather than anything else. Please keep us posted on him!!

I have a fella who is 11 and he's lost a lot of weight. I just hate seeing that. I know it's heartbreaking.

They always say that they have nine lives and I truly believe it. They are part of the family and you really get attached. Hope he improves. Have a wonderful day.

Well, it has to have been the snake head that put Binky under the weather. I wish I could transfer some of my black cat, Susie's, weight over to Binky. They are almost the same age, but she is huge.

Our animals are our heart and life would be so much less joyful without them. I love that you care so much for all of them. Binky, you hang in there.

Hope you had fun at the lake partay!

Hey KarenSue! Yes, I was completely amazed to find them, I was at the Aloma location last night. They had several bunches left, but in order to enjoy them from a tightly closed flower to full bloom, I'd grab them now. Overnight mine have already opened up quite a bit and they smell heavenly! :)

The clerk told me they only have them 1 week out of every year so I guess it's our lucky week! Enjoy!

I hope your kitty bounces back and stays that way. Maybe the heat is getting to him? Hopefully he can start drinking lots of water.
