HOWDY from The Farm Chicks and Chaps!!! The beginning....

So we arrived in Spokane Washington and got our rent a car.  First they forget to give us a trunk so the nice man at Enterprise upgraded us with a trunk for free!!! The beginning of good things to come.

Off we go and check in our hotel.  It's Friday afternoon and we thought we would make a dry run to The Farm Chicks so in the morning we would know where we were going.

We get there and there is a line..
Are these people crazy and lining up for tomorrow or are they selling early tickets???

SELLING EARLY TICKETS!!!!!!

We hop in line to wait a short 35 minutes for them to open up sales..

The weather was perfect and so many nice people in line.

Our next stop is my favorite restaurant in whole world!!

I almost cried....

So we walked around and took some pictures.

Now I want an old truck sitting in the yard.  How do you think that will go over with the hubby??  NOT!!
He just doesn't get it.

Kathy taking a ride.

I was too scared I would brake it.

Yahoo!!!!

They let us in!!
This is Cake, the new bakery Celeste opened last year.

So much to look at.
You can read the history here.

I loved being the only ones there.

I wish you could all see it.
So much better then my pictures.

Classic photo by the truck..

Kathy checking out the menu.

Liking my Mojito..

With our fancy drinks..

John was there..

See Kathy...

How many places do you go and want to take pictures of the bathroom?

Bird cages for the light fixture's..

The place filled up fast!
We moved to Cake to listen to the band and watch the people.

We had so much fun!!!
I always wish I had taken more pictures.
I learn something every time.
Steve was our waiter and was such a gentleman.  And cute too!!(should have taken picture)
If you have not been to Chaps you must go.
The food is fabulous and the service is the best.
Thank you Celeste and you know this is tradition now and I will be back next year.

Just a peek into tomorrows post.
And this is the line that bought early tickets!!!
I have to say we had an amazing trip.
Kathy, thank you for coming with me.

The Farm Chicks Show or Bust!!! And Chaps too!!!

I can't believe it's here again.. This is my 4th year in a row from Florida!
And this year I'm bringing Kathy my BFF and my booth partner.  She has not been and I can't wait to see her face when we walk in the door.
It gets bigger and better every year.

Of course we have to go to Chaps.
Check out their link.  If you ever are in Spokane you HAVE to go to Chaps.
It's close to the airport not downtown.
I'm just as excited about going here as I am going to Farm Chicks.
And to have someone as excited as I am is a treat.
The first year I took my daughter and sister.  They both sat in the food court the whole time.  First of all I had nobody to ewwww and ahhhhh with.  And I knew they wanted to leave!!!  The next two years were much better.  I took really good friends with like minds.
After They Farm Chicks we are off to Lakeside Montana for a couple days.
I have lots of friends there and am excited for Kathy to meet them.
And I won free beer for a year at Tamarack's restaurant!!!(ends in July)..

And more big news is ours girls come back from Europe tonite!!!
They are flying from Rome as we speak.
It's been a long 12 days for me. I have that acking feeling for her.
They had a blast and don't want to leave.  So I have a feeling they will go again.
Can't wait to see those cute little faces and hear all about it.

I'm hoping to meet a lot of bloggers this weekend. I have marked my map with some names I already know(they don't know me, yet).
I think I'm ready!!!!
Enjoy your weekend....
I will have lots of pictures.
Hugs to you
