What do you think?

I'm a little shy about this. I'm still adding things everyday.
I did sell something even before I set it up!
That really lifted my spirits.

The hardest part for me is pricing.

So what do you think?

Looks wonderful, Karen Sue! I love how you are using large furniture pieces and building up from them and how you are using the cart to build out into the space! Lighting is important and highlights what you want to be seen, as well as creating a mood in the space~ the light above the dresser works well for that! As much as possible use the pieces you are selling as displays for other pieces and you'll get the look you want! Wish I could go shopping! Pricing is always the hardest~ I've been doing this for many years and it is still hard~ think about how much you would pay for it. I try to see what other dealers are doing similar items for and try not to undercut their prices~ it leads to hard feelings. Good luck~ but I don't think you're going to need it! XO

Your booth is looking good. I know that the pricing is hard for me too. They told me to think of my booth as work in progress. Good luck. Taje care,

Congrats on your new booth and your first sale! I think it's hard for everyone when it comes to pricing. It's a live and learn process. Love the ornate white dresser. Beautiful piece.

oh, wow. This looks great! Glad you took the plunge. I've been thinking about doing this for awhile but haven't made the commitment! I would take a look at other booths and venues to compare prices... somewhere between garage sale and high-priced antique show? How's that for extremes? Maybe look on ebay and vintage etsy for similar items? Wish I could shop at your booth! Jamie V in MT

Oh yeah! You have all the right elements, excellent eye there Girl! I can sooo relate to the difficulty of pricing. I was talking with my booth neighbor just yesterday and we were talking about the agony of trying to price stuff. You'll get the hang of it. Loving the blog and your talents.

I think it's lovely...the little touches of blue really stand out. As far as pricing goes...think about what you paid for it first...then think what you'd be willing to pay retail for it. If you're willing to pay your price...some one else will be too! If it's a unique item...double what you're thinking.

SO exciting! You KNOW I can relate to the jitters since I just opened my shop too...Collette and the girls at Station 8 assist me on pricing. Could your owner help you? It looks like you've got lots of great stuff!

Wow KarenSue!

Congratulations it looks great. I see a whole lot of interesting stuff.. Sometimes you just have to go for it! Your shop will be fantastic.

Pricing is difficult. I´m currently helping my mother setting up her shop of old treasures. My advice is to search online or look around in similar shops and see what prices they have.

Happy friday,
Sanna
