Warning there is poop in this story!

At first I couldn't figure out what this was.
He ate the whole box!

Then I saw the empty box.

Just a few out of the 2nd box.

Look at that face! He is guilty for sure and he knows it.
He feels bad when I yell at him.

And then there is the red poop!
Happy Christmas week to you.
Hope you are where you want to be with your shopping and celebrating.
Let's all make Christmas easier for ourselves and enjoy this time.

A Little Christmas Story

This is not a very good picture of our little home in Montana. I'm sorry the porch is not cleaned up and I don't have any furniture for it yet. But that's not this story. This is from last year.

So I said to my youngest(18), do you want to go Christmas shopping for your sisters and friends? Not for you, this is Christmas shopping. She said sure and got ready. She brought her cute purse that she has had for a while now.  Off we go to Millinia Mall, we park at Bloomingdales because nobody else does.
Anyway, as we go inside the alarm goes off. No one even looks at us. We walk thru to the mall and the alarm rings again. We go to an employee who says that's OK you are fine. I want to know why this is happening! We dump her purse and it still rings. They say don't worry about it. So we head to Forever 21(that store makes me crazy) their alarms goes off! Nobody cares! We shop, try taking a 18 year old in Forever 21 not to shop for herself, that doesn't work, so she's mad at that. We get what we want(she did get a sweater, their stuff is so cheap). and tell the cashier the alarm will go off as we are leaving and she doesn't care!  By this time my hair is standing up on the back of my neck, I'm thinking about when we walk thru Bloomingdales again and is this going to happen in all the stores?!  She is mad at me because I make her walk thru the alarms by herself so they don't think it's me.  She is yelling at me saying she wants to go home now. Well this is where Anthropologie is, I'm not not going there. Guess what!  The alarm doesn't go off in Anthro!  I start to calm down now, well she is mad and wants to go home.  So we did, the alarm went off in and out of Bloomingdale's again and again nobody cared!  We get in the car and for some reason she thinks this is my fault, that I embarrassed her. I start laughing until I start to go into the ugly cry.  I thought of how my Mother use to embarrass me, now I understand her more. I wish she was here so I could tell her this story.
Not a fun day shopping!

My little house in the mountains is waiting for me. 3000 miles away! Someday I will tell you the story of getting there. It's different every time. I'm retired from USAirways so I get to fly for free!  Well believe me it's not what it's cracked up to be. I have spent days in airports trying to get on flights. We are trying again on Christmas Eve. I hope I don't have any long story's from this trip.
Enjoy your last Sunday before the holidays!

ps... let's see who in my family reads my blog....I might get into trouble for telling this story.

My Christmas tree and Junkin Finds Friday

This is what I look at in the morning with my coffee. I do make a pretty tree, it's seems to be the same every year. And I like that.

I am trying to wrap with this red paper, it's reversible to a tan color I like. See the old Anthro wrapping things they give you?  I have not seen this years, I hope they did something. I think I will go there today. I'm sure they have put more on sale. They are good about that.

My garland is vintage, I bought that a few years ago in the thrift store in the original box. I will take a picture and show you next week. It's very soft and wispy, I have to be very careful with it. I keep piecing it back together.

I don't have anywhere to hang the stockings! I'm looking for some hooks I like and when I find them I will show you. Sometimes it takes me a while to find what I like and that's OK.  It's the thrill of the hunt for me.

A few of my favorite ornaments.  I always buy these when I find them.

My Mom painted these pretty roses, she loved china painting. I have a lot of her things she painted. She has been gone for 16 years now and I still think she is here.  I do miss her.

OK, what I found in Ovieda.
I love vintage horse pictures, they will be going out to Montana in my horse room.  Since I'm only there a few weeks a year it's taking a long time to decorate. This room still has a blow up bed in it. We leave one week from today and I'm so excited. I will take pictures for you.

I like this vintage deer, it's missing it's antlers but I still like him. That is an older Brighton purse that I will save for the summer. I like the way the leather is worn. I also like bamboo frames. It was just a dollar.

I don't usually like gold but these bells said something to me. I will add to the gold for next year.

These are prints but I think they almost look like paint by number.

We had old bells on a leather strap when we were little. My Mom would go outside our window and ring them on Christmas Eve after we went to bed. It scared me so much. I really thought he was there. I wish I still had those bells. So when I found these I had to buy them.

My favorite book! I already have this but when you can get it for a dollar I thought I could give it to someone as a gift someday.

OMGoodness! Oviedo Florida...have you been there?

My good friend, The Boston Lady and I went junkin in Oviedo today.  Were we surprised or what!
Warning....... a whole lot of pictures.  These are two different antique markets that we discovered.
The first is Hidden Treasure Antiques
I spent all my money there.
I would have spread it out if I had known about the second shop.
I will be going back very soon.
I'm not going to talk during the pictures so take a look.

I love these trees glued to a shabby board.

Does this look familiar?

Then we went around the corner to The Coop Antiques & Collectibles.
Much smaller but just as wonderful.
I met Melissa and she is so sweet.
You can walk to both of these shops.  Just going to these two shops can be a whole day excursion. I will plan my day around them next time.
So take a look at Melissa's great shop!

I really like these pillows

If this one is still there next week it is mine. So don't go out and buy it please.

Hummmmm.... I had this set in my booth and someone just bought the glasses and not the pitcher. Do you think this is them?  Could be....and that's ok with me.

Oviedo is about 25 minutes from me and that's a good thing because I would be there way too much.
If you live in the area or are going to visit try real hard to get to Oviedo.  We spotted another shop as we were leaving town but didn't have time to stop.
I hope you enjoyed this.
I will show what I bought tomorrow.
Bundle up Florida!  Another night of freezing weather.  You know our blood is too thin for this.
Enjoy your day!
