HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!

Happy Birthday to my Mommy!
She's been gone 18 years now, I can't believe it.
I was mad because she left me with 3 young girls to raise.
Well, I did it Ummie!!
You would be so proud of all of them.
And I really think you would love what I'm doing now..

Here she is holding me in 1953shhhh.

Me, my Mom and my sister.

Little Gram, Mom, me and Big Gram.
Big Gram finally asks us to stop calling her Big Gram. I just couldn't understand why?!
They are all gone now, I thought they would live forever.
Miss you everyday..
Happy Birthday!
Love you
XOXO

Life after you close your booth....

I remember being scared opening our booth and then I was scared closing the booth.
It's funny how Kathy and I seem to be on the same page during this adventure.
This is our last week at Art Angels.  It has been a great 2 years and I can't believe it's been 2 years!
But it's time.

Speaking of time...haha
I really didn't plan that.
I found this vintage wall clock at an estate sale this weekend.
I love it!  I had to bend the hands a little to get it working, since then it's kept time all weekend.
It takes a C battery, which I thought was different.

So, do you stop thrifting after you close your booth?
NO..
It's in my blood, but I am being more selective.

Jack, watching out for his Mama to come home.

Anyway, I bought 2 lambs wool pillow covers at the thrift the other day. I stalked them until they went on sale.  And if you go to thrift stores you know that can take a few weeks, it's very chancy..
My thrift uses the color code system.

I also picked up this old store storage/display rack at a garage sale.
I almost walked away because they wanted 25 dollars and wouldn't come down( I don't blame them).
I needed more storage to keep and show all the inventory for our wedding rental business.
This is perfect and it looks good!!

It's perfect for storing the taller ball jars.

I picked up this barrel a few weeks ago at the thrift for $1.91(I might have already shown you).

I love the old wall paper on it.

It's in perfect shabby/chippy shape!!

I use it to store clothes I don't want anymore to go to goodwill.
Look at this cute set!!

I think it looks so Jeanne d' Arc!!

I love it, I'm still moving it around, finding the perfect place.
Sometimes it takes a while but if you love it....it will work.

Yep, from my thrift store.  Just $25.00, I think that's a steal.  There was a time I would have walked away for that price.
Went to the booth yesterday.  It's almost empty!!  All the furniture has sold!!  Just what we wanted, we didn't want to bring anything home.
Orlando is having a beautiful week.
Hope you are!!
Thank you for visiting me today.

I'm joining Blissful Whites Wednesday for the first time today!

Another little peek...

We went to a local park to do some more photo's for our vintage wedding rental business.

I sure am learning about lighting when you take photos.
You can even see the cake plates here.

Had a hard time getting the candelabras to show up.

You can hardly see them here.

Love this old mailbox for guests to put their cards in.

We have lots of frames to make photo shoots.
The excitement is building!!
Thanks for the name suggestions!!
Enjoy your day my friends..

Just a sample......

Kathy and I did a little styling yesterday.
We are working on our new business, a vintage eclectic wedding/event rental business.
The hardest part is choosing a name....
Any suggestions??

Just a little sample of what we have.

I love my pretty foe wedding cake.  I see it at a bridle shower.

We have lots of cake plates, milk glass, glass, silver, in all sizes.
I loved how Amy and Doug had 11 different classes cakes as their wedding cakes!!  So Pollyanna!!

Lots of Ball jars.
We even have quit a bit of eclectic pretty silverware.

Kathy is making pretty and different banners.

We have lots of different suitcases and old books.

So I hope you like our little peek at some of the things we have.
We know there already are a few vintage rental businesses in the central Florida area but we think there is room for more!!
Please tell us what you think....really!!

We are finally getting a little bit of fall weather, it feels so good.

Happy Fall y'all!!!
