Today we are picking Jack up from the hospital.He fell off a table trying to get the cat food and fell on his little knee.
It separated the growth plate from his knee. When it happened all he would do is hold his leg up and not walk on it. Never cried. I really thought he just bruised it. Of course this happens on the weekend and when him Mommy(Katie) was away.
When she took him to the vet on Monday it was not good.
He's only 6 months old.
They called and said the surgery went well.
But now she has to keep him very calm for 8 weeks.
He lives with 2 other puppies and all they want to do is play.
It won't be easy but it's what comes with owning a pet.
We are just happy he will be fine.

What a sweet little fur face - glad he is at least out of surgery and will recover with friends. Best of luck in keeping him still ;)

Oh he is just adorable, my son is wanting to get a dog very similar to him. Hope he's better and tell him to stay a way from the cat food! What is it that makes them want it. Have a great day, T

Awww Jack! Get better soon. It will be hard to stay quiet with the excitement of the other pups, but I know his mom will look out for him.
I bet Jack is a handful...literally! What a face. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery and learning cat food is a no no.
