Pillows

This is from a linen and cotton Potterybarn roll up shade.

I buy feather pillows from the Thrift Store and send the covers to Goodwill if I don't like them. I do make sure the pillow is very clean and a lot of times they are new. The most I pay is about $5.00!

I cut one side of the ties off.

Centered the pillow and rolled it up.

Gathered the end and wrapped the tie around it and tucked it under.

I really like the way it turned out. The material is light weight and natural feeling.

This is 2 table napkins from Anthropologie that I sewed together with the ruffles showing. I paid $1.95 for each napkin!

These are Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic table napkins I bought at the Thrift Store for $1.91 for 4 of them.

I put new Potterybarn pillows that I also bought at the Thrift.

I think they are very cute.

This was a valance that came with the bed spread it's on.

This one I left the balls out.

I think I might redo this one and leave the balls on the outside.

I added vintage ribbon to tie it closed.

This was another Potterybarn curtain panel. I made 2 pillows out of this one.

I hope you liked my pillows, I might be putting them in my little shop.

Which is doing pretty good, I sold 14 things on Monday!

Our Wednesday is rainy and that does keep the temp. down.

I'm enjoy it.

Jack update

Here he is with his Mom and a full leg cast.

He's not allowed to walk or jump around at all, only to go potty.

She is doing a great job taking care of him, the only time she is not with him is when she goes to work and then her sister takes just as good care of Jack.

The vet said a break would have been easier to heal then this.

This is Jack when she first brought him home.

Can you stand that little face!

He really is a sweetie pie.

Jack will be fine!

A very good friend!

This is my friend, her daughter and mine became friends in kindergarten and now they are 21 yrs old! It's hard to believe we have known each other this long. What's is really funny is we almost bought the house right next to her 18 yrs ago, then we would have been friends longer.

She went to my little shop and took pictures and did a wonderful post about it.

Jack

Today we are picking Jack up from the hospital.

He fell off a table trying to get the cat food and fell on his little knee.

It separated the growth plate from his knee. When it happened all he would do is hold his leg up and not walk on it. Never cried. I really thought he just bruised it. Of course this happens on the weekend and when him Mommy(Katie) was away.

When she took him to the vet on Monday it was not good.

He's only 6 months old.

They called and said the surgery went well.

But now she has to keep him very calm for 8 weeks.

He lives with 2 other puppies and all they want to do is play.

It won't be easy but it's what comes with owning a pet.

We are just happy he will be fine.
