Bailey and Treasures......

My sweet boy, he doesn't know he has cancer.  I'm not telling him.

He's the best.  He told me he would live forever.  It makes me sad.
I just want him to have a  happy life.  He will tell me when it's time.
I love you Bailey!!!

My treasures from Renningers.
Have you seen the magazine Folk?

I have not look at it yet.
It looks amazing!

I love these cute little stars.

I collect vintage paint by numbers.

I like either western, winter scenes.
I already have a few, they are not easy to find at a good price anymore.

Look at this thing.  I'm not exactly sure what it is, but it's so cool.
I see it as a plant stand or  with some kind of bowl holding ice with drinks for a party.
What do you see?

Perfect rusty crusty and look at that cute wheel!
I have not told you yet, I bought myself a new camera with my Fancy Flea Money.  I think this pictures is beautiful.
It's a Canon Power Shot sx40 HS!
I love it!!
I know nothing about cameras so I went to the camera shop that my Dad went to for years.  I asked the man if he was patient.
It's not a complicated camera but it takes great pictures on AUTO.

I went to visit Amanda this weekend in Jacksonville Florida.
This is where she lives on the bottom floor.
It's an old building with the original wood floors and beautiful tall windows.
I could do so much with this place.
I found that chair in the trash across the street, it's perfect for her to sit outside with her kitty.

And this is my cute little table next to my sofa where I read my blog and post.
It looks like flowers are in my coffee cup, nope.

Linking with Kristin's Tuesday's Treasures.  Well I tried to link, it didn't work.  So I will try again tomorrow.
Is anyone else having trouble with posting and linking?
Hope you are enjoying your evening.
xoxo

I feel so sad about Bailey! The rolling rusty thing looks like some kind of medical equipment, I would put a half bust on her (Barr display) and make her a rolling dress form? Have a great Thanksgiving!

Karen Sue -

Oh what a sweet face Bailey has. I just hate to hear news like that. Our pets love us so unconditionally and all they want is to be loved back. You have given a Bailey a good home with lots of love and that is all one asks. Cherish your time with him as I'm sure you will.

Can't help you with that stand you got but I will be interested to see what you do with it.

That wicker chair looks identical to the one my husband pulled out of the trash when I first started dating him. It sat in the front of my house as well. I loved it. It added some charm to the front.

BTW, my husband is a gem when it comes to finding treasures. I'm pretty lucky in that regard.

Our beloved dog had cancer...yes you will know when it is time. I don't think I will ever have a pet again. Over the years I have had to go through the loss too many times. I'm just not up for it anymore
I also bought a Canon...you my have noticed that it hasn't helped me blog any better...Since Borders went out of business we have no place to find the beautiful magazines....perhaps I will get subscriptions and make a reading area in the store...maybe it will draw desperate women in! Tea, beauty, music,Magazines....Your shabby rusty thing is perfection on wheels and so full of possibilities. My first thought was a planter

Oh, Sue...having lost my little girl (my Yorkie, Darla) to congestive heart failure, I can feel your pain. Your Bailey is such a gently boy. I am sad for you. Enjoy your time with him.
I am so excited that you found a nice camera. I love mine, but close-ups for details just don't seem to come out well. I can take a shot and bring it in close, but the other way for details is lacking. I will look into yours.
As usual, lucky finds. Hope you enjoyed your trip to J'ville. I have not been back there since my sister moved away. One day I would like to go back...and hit up St. Augustine on the way. It has been a long time since I have been there, too. Enjoy your Thanksgiving. We'll talk soon.
Your friend, denise

Hi KarenSue,

Oh no! Sorry to hear that Bailey is sick. So sad for him and you. I don´t know what the stand is for, but I think you have great ideas for it. Did you buy the birdhouse too? I haven´t seen that magazine before but it sure looks interesting!

Hugs,
Sanna

Bailey will live forever in your heart Sue. He is such a special boy. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him. I know how hard this is for you and the family.

Love your treasures from Renningers especially the paint-by-numbers!

Amanda's apartment is cute! Happy Thanksgiving. Ann

Dogs are the most amazing creatures. What else loves us unconditionally, trusts us explicitly and is loyal to a fault. It is the love of our pets that give us a sense of security and teaches us what love really is. My thoughts and prayers are with you. The passing of a pet is no less painful than the passing of any of our loved ones!

I loved your pictures and especially loved seeing a can of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in one of them!!
