Look at my cute vintage inspired cake I made!
Can you see what I did?
I started with a vintage cake plate cover and layered a vintage hat box because I like the color and the flowers. From there I just collected anything round in smaller sizes.
My friend in Montana, Anita, saved the vintage wedding cake topper for me.
The little flowers are vintage cake decorating flowers I bought from another friend Christy who has a booth in Art Angels with me.
I saw this at The Farm Chick Show this year and thought it was so cool.
I'm not selling it, we plan on using it for our vintage wedding rentals we are working on.
It just all came together.
If I find another wedding topper I might make another one.
And here is another table I just finished.
I'm really liking it.
It's painted with ASCP in Coco
I decides not to paint the drawers. I almost painted them with ASCP Old White.
But Chic convinced me not to.
This will be going to the Art Angels Flea Market this Sat the 5th, if it doesn't sell then to the Fancy Flea in Lakeland on the 12th.
I really like the dark stain.
I went to visit my friend Gail who sets up her booth every Sunday for the Lake Eola Market.
She takes the most amazing photos. I think it's so fun to know a real artist!
Out and About by Gail!!
People watching is so fun.
Cute shoes
Walking back to my car I saw these beautiful swans.
Friendly because they are well fed.
They get a little close and I know they will bite!
They sure are beautiful.
The fountain in the back ground has been here for a long time. I grew up here in Orlando and can remember my Mom bringing us here in the evening to see the fountain turn colors.
I love things like this.
I didn't trust those eyes.
Well I hope you all had a relaxing, fun weekend.
And enjoy your week!
Thank you for visiting me and leaving sweet comments!
I enjoy every one of them.
xoxo

You are sooooo talented - love that wedding cake, but it needs some chocolate buttercream frosting in a mug for me to eat. =)
Great pictures from Lake Eola. It looks like you had a perfect day.
