My First White Wednesday, Sweet Pea Home, Rusty Rooster Vintage!

My first White Wednesday.  Better late then never I guess. I have followed Kathleen at Faded Charm for a long time and love it.  So be sure to hop on over and visit all the beautiful blogs.
I went to Sweet Peas Home sale on Saturday.
And this is what I found.  I just love this mirror...so shabby to me.

Pretty details

I like anything that might organize me, anything metal or industrial.
This fits the bill..perfect!

And chippy too!

These tags are so pretty

I had to buy the bee hive...of course!
I did buy more but I'm saving them for other days.
Check out Shelley at Sweet Pea Home and see her beautiful home that has been published in L'Idea's Shabby Chic Italian magazine!  She also is the cottage of the month this month at The Old Painted Cottage.
I know she is a famous blogger and she is very sweet!
I'm just glad to be on her mailing list when she has these wonderful home sales.

I found these old windows at the curb.

No glass in this one.

My big find of the day!
It's silver plate.

It's hard to see what it looks like here, it's tarnished and very heavy.
I will find new shades for it.  They had black paper shades that just didn't do this baby justice.

She said it need to be polished!  Are you kidding?  No it doesn't...it's perfect for me.
And I also met Vicki from Rusty Rooster Vintage shopping at Shelley's home sale!
What a sweet girl, she has a wonderful blog about decorating and she is very crafty..I'm not so I love getting inspiration from her.  So many links in this post, I hope you can get over and visit these fun and inspirational blogs.
Enjoy your White Wednesday!

Redneck Chic and Station 8 plus friends!

My favorite shops!
Redneck Chic is a hugh building with lots of vender's.  I always find good junk here.

I met Dana who has a booth right in the front of the store and is one of my favorite spaces.
She is friends with my good friend Carmen who lives in Lakeside right next to me. When you say next to me here you can't see them but you know they are close.

My other favorite is Station 8.
It's about 30 minutes from us so we don't get there as ofter but it is worth the trip.

Someday I will have an old truck in my yard filled with plants and flowers.
Me and Carmen. Carmen and Larry are our best friends in Montana.  They do so much for us when we get there.  They get the house all warm and cozy in the winter and fill the fridge!
We are so lucky to have such good friends in Montana.
It's probably why we want to move there.

Happy New year from Spinny's.
Yes, that is John Lithcoe. He lives in Lakeside also and goes to Spinny's on New Years Eve if he is in town.
Spinny's is where I do my laundry, it's kind of a dumpy bar/laundry mat.

Katie and Cathy, Cathy and Mies are very good friends.  We have so much fun with them.  We always look forward to spend time with them and their sweetie pie daughter Emmary Grace who is 5 years old.   I'm mad at myself, I didn't get any pictures of Emmary this year!

Tony lives above us with the most amazing view of Flathead Lake. He is building this Beautiful 3 story home all by himself!
He is a great friend and I just love him.

The kids!
They do grow up ya know.

Tony and Charlie(Katie's boyfriend).

Me, Emily and Carmen

Emily and our other Tony who did all the work on our little cabin for us.
Now he owns his own resteraunt with fiance Kage.
Bonelli's Bistro in downtown Kalispell on 1st ave.
It really is the best!

This is Kage and Cathy.
Just fun girls I enjoy being with.

Tony and Larry.
Larry and Carmen own Advanced Power Coating in Kalispell.  So if you need anything power coated go see them and tell them I sent you.

Woods Bay Montana Polar Plunge! 2011

The paramedic snorkelers are in the water waiting for the horn to blow.

I think this might even be harder then the plunge....waiting.

Are 3 shots good this time?  We know 5 is too many.

Thinking....I could change my mind ya know.

It's time!  Get ready.  I saw speedo's, I saw girls bikini underwear.

I think Charlie chose the right outfit.

The horn blows!  In and out pretty fast.

Are they crazy or what!

It looks chilly.  Oh about 15degrees I think.

Hurry!

Crossed arms helps ya know.

Very proud of himself!

This girl was not impressed at all.

There's a smile!

Driving around beautiful Flathead Lake. It takes my breath away every time.

Amanda on our friends balcony on Flathead Lake.

I had about 25 pictures loaded and then something went crazy and my computer loaded all my pictures...over 400. I didn't think you guys wanted to spend that much time looking. It was frustrating, I had to take a break and then come back and shorten this post.  So next is SHOPPING!
I'm still trying to catch up on all my reading of blogs.
Enjoy your week and stay warm.
Hugs to all of ya!
