Our last VCM!

This means Christmas is just around the corner! Are you ready? I'm not, but that's normal for me. It will all come together. We leave Thursday for Lakeside Montana. And with 4 cats and 1 dog to take care of there is a lot still to do.

So I tried to get the rest of my vintage decorations photographed. I'm sure I missed something.

This little lady is so pretty. She is missing one wing but I don't care I still love her. This little guy has lost his kissing partner. Maybe someday I will find her. I'm on the look out.

She has such a sweet face.

I feel kind of bad for him. He's waiting for that kiss.

These are small records. I just picked these up on Saturday at an estate sale. I don't know if they are scratched. I'm thinking about getting a record player since they are coming back.

These are a few vintage Christmas cards. The one in the front is a cut out. Christmas Greetings holds a photo inside. I sent a few of those out last year. This is my last one.

Well, I guess that's it. I have really enjoyed this. Thank you Joan, you have done a great job.

I do wish everyone Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year.

Blessing to all!

Sue

I almost missed this. A recipe box.

I love the Santa!
Merry Christmas to all again!

Vintage Christmas Monday!

Can you believe we only have a couple VCM's left!
Thank you again to Joan at Anything Goes Here for hosting this. You have done a great job.
These guys are vintage velvet touch deer and the vase is dated 1958.
I just love these cute plastic deer. The tray is dated 1966. It's from the Orlando Country Club which my parents use to belong to.

That's me and Santa about 1958.

I'm still looking for a from for this. I do remember getting it. I was just so excited.

I just picked this up at TJ Max. It's not old but I think it looks it. And it goes well with my old bottle brush trees.

I found these a long time ago at the thrift for $1.00.
They are about 10 inches high.

I think I might have to much stuff here but I wanted you to see them all.
Well I hope everyone has a good week. Less then 2 weeks to go.
We are off to Montana on the 24th. There better be lots of snow. I have all my friends doing the snow dance.

My crooked Christmas Tree!

I thought I would try to simplify Christmas decorating this year. I saw potted Christmas trees at a tree farm. I had never seen that in Florida before. And they are small enought for table top which I had never done before either. It sure looked straight at the tree farm.
It's pretty crooked!
Oh well, I'm ok with it.
It does looked pretty with my vintage ornaments.
The Merry Christmas banner is last years Anthropolgie banner.
I love this years. I just can't afford it.

I just love vintage ornaments from the 40's and 50's.

The white garland is vintage also.
I have 4 boxes that I found in the Thrift store a
few years ago. It makes the tree look soft.
Hope you are enjoying your Thursday!

Look what I won!

I'm so excited! I can hardly type and I don't know what to do first. It's 530am who can I call and tell. I told Bailey my dog and the 4 cats. They just want to eat.
This couldn't be any better. I really did just start a collection of old scales. I bought one on Etsy from Tara and I found one last week at an estate sale.
Thank you Michelle! I'm not just saying this because I won but she does have a great blog so check her out here!(look Kristin I did it)
I hope eveyone has as good of a day as Iam!

VCM!-Vintage Christmas Monday #2

OK, here we go. Joan at Anything Goes Here-http://thepottingshed-anythinggoeshere.blogspot.com/-came up with great idea! I just love it.
First, I made this wreath out of small Christmas toys and old ornaments.

This one is on the front door.

I think this guy is from Germany. I think they are so cute. I have three of them and I put them on a wreath. This one is inside my front door this year.

Not a very good picture. I'm sorry!

Some how these things got out of order. I try to do other things when they are downloading and forget what I have done.

I didn't mean to do this one twice and I don't know how to take one picture off.
You know I just might have to post twice today! I hope that's ok.
Happy VCM to ya!
